High Definition as great as it is a small part of our lives when it comes to things that are important.

After coming through the Hurricanes that hit my home in South Louisiana and the economic crisis we all face It is obvious that there
are more important things than HD. I thank God for giving us the Blessings we sometimes only see when all unimportant things are pushed away. A Kiss from my wife, a Hug from my Kids, a Handshake from my Neighbors that will risk their life to help are things that have indescribable value. I tell my Kids that the definition of "Tough" is=being able to Suffer Well. You will never be able to find out how tough you are until you have the chance to bear up under difficult times. Needless to say I have had my share of opportunities to suffer well and sometimes I don't perform as well as I would like. But when I look at my Kids and I know there counting on me to be "Daddy" and to protect and provide for them I know that I can't quit and I can't let them down.

I have a very good example to draw strength and encouragement from; He is the toughest Man that ever walked the earth. He suffered better than anyone ever has or ever will. So no matter how good or bad it gets remember "Enjoy it while you can, because soon it will be over".

Our industry covets awards in the form of little gold statues.

I won my first Emmy last month for Cinematography.

And although I truly appreciate the acknowledgement of my work, That award will never look me in the eye and say, "I love you Daddy". I look forward to investing in the things that will really have value in the future...My Wife and Kids.
